Rogie was shown in America by good friend Patty Metzger. He completed his American title with four majors and was a total joy to live with. Since he had been born and raised here in the Philippines, watching him experience his first snowfall in Illinois was very humorous. Being Pekingese, however, in seconds he had decided that he LOVED this cold white stuff!

Mira produced the American champions Muhlin Confidante and Muhlin Bo Peep for Patty in her first litter by Phil Gr Am Ch Dreamville Fast Forward! Patty now co-owns Mira with Laura and Roy Harrison and her second litter (by the Harrison's lovely Ch Da Vinci son Ch Laro Ancient Dreamer) contained the American Grand Champion, SLASH C'S MEE LUNG OF LARO. "Chewie" is owned and always shown by Zoe Norris.

Co-owned with his breeder, Edwin Chua, "Han" was temporarily with us here. He was an absolute joy to show and he reached the rank of the number two dog in the PCCI Dog of the Year rankings for 2008, in spite of starting his campaign in late May. He has 10 Bests in Show All Breeds, 6 Reserve Best in Show awards and 29 Group 1's. Our first litter by him consists of two promising dog puppies out of Phil Gr, Am Ch Dreamville Queen of Soul.

"Adam" had a brief but exciting American show career, capped by gaining his title with a Specialty BIS from the 6-9 mo. puppy class. He also became the first Pekingese in well over thirty years to be awarded an all-breed BIS here in the Philippines. He is co-owned with good friend and Pekingese collaborator, Patty Metzger. As a puppy, "Boomer" did not enjoy the noise of American dog shows, but after joining us as an adult, he quickly gained his Philippine title. He is a dream as a sire, and we are enjoying his children. Patty has finished her Boomer daughter (Ch. Muhlin Floradora) entirely from the Bred-by-Exhibitor class, and our co-owned son, Ch. Muhlin Buzzword of Dreamville, has also completed his championship with three major wins. "Flora" is out of Ch Muhlin Charade of Dreamville and "Hurley" is out of Ch Dreamville Sweet 'N Low. While he was here, Boomer sired our lovely bitch, Hall Of Fame Phil Gr. Ch Dreamville Black Cherry. Once back in the States, Boomer quickly completed his American Championship with four major wins and produced yet another American Champion (Ch Laro Fast Eddie) for Roy and Laura Harrison and Zoe Norris. He now has a promising young son and daughter (Laro Baby Boomer of Muhlin and Laro Boomerang of Muhlin) out of Am Ch Royal's Shimmering Stardust. Boomer is now greatly enjoying his "new" life with Pauline Plowman and her family in Newfoundland.

"Lola", co-owned with Patty Metzger, completed her championship so quickly that we were left thinking that perhaps we were dreaming! She was WB and Best Puppy in Show at the Progressive KC and Best of Winners two days later at our winter National Specialty. She finished a scant two weeks later with major number three at the International KC. She has been shown twice as a special and was awarded Specialty BOS at both the Derbytown and the North Central Illinois Pekingese Clubs. Her first son, Ch Muhlin Buzzword of Dreamville (Hurley), sired by Phil Ch Muhlin Molotov, completed his championship with three majors. Lola's second son, Ch Muhlin Da Vinci of Dreamville (by Am. Can Ch. Taeplace Monet), finished his American championship as a puppy with three majors. Her THIRD son, Ch Muhlin Adamant of Dreamville ("Butchie") is sired by Am Phil Gr Ch Yakee Yearn For Me. He has already completed his Philippine Grand Championship here and Patty completed his American Championship after showing him only nine times in the US. And bless her heart, after four years of no babies, Lola presented us with one final litter of three. Two boys and a girl, sired by Kistler's Troubadour. All three puppies were of the highest calibre and went on to complete their championships. Shorty became an Am Ch with two specialty majors, Sweetie also finished handily and Lowen has a Group II from the classes to his credit. All three are pictured below. Now a PCA Register of Merit dam, Lola is in her new home with a cherished friend. She and Tish have renewed their old "friendship" and are chasing chipmunks together in Bobby and Richard's gorgeous gardens!

"Butchie" is quite the hellion and we weren't sure the kitchen was going to
survive
while he was a baby. Co-bred and co-owned by Patty Metzger, Butchie is
with Patty at the moment. She was able to complete his American Championship
with three majors after showing him a total of only 9 times! Butchie is now the sire of 6
daughters in his first two Philippine litters and he has produced two American-bred
champions as well. He now lives happily with Karen and Dick Fries and they've
discovered that he LOVES the puppies. Great babysitter!
