Wardy is without a doubt one of the happiest Pekingese we've ever been around. HOWEVER, while nothing in the world rattles him, he also feels that it should be "his way or the highway" and he doesn't necessarily feel that he should have to gait in the ring with you exactly when you'd like him to. If this were always easy, we'd have gotten complacent a long time ago.....right?? He completed his American title very quickly once the judges were able to see him move and examine him while he stood still on the table like the good boy that he really is!! He too is proven and Patty Metzger has had two lovely litters by him (two boys and a girl out of Ch Muhlin Mirage of Dreamville and two girls and a boy out of Ch Muhlin Holly Go Notso Lightly). Several of these children are pictured on our "All In The Family" page. Wardy is home with us and he has given us several champions as well.

Fame Dreamville Count Basie Ex: Phil Ch Jadewoods Radiant Virtue
"Duke" is the product of a breeding based on litter brothers Phil Hall of Fame Muhlin Cartel of Dreamville (sire of Count Basie) and Am Ch Muhlin Bezique of Dreamville (sire of Radiant Virtue). These are from the all champion litter out of BISS Phil Grand Am Ch Dreamville Sun Goddess and by BISA/BISS Am Ch and Sire of Distinction Muhlin Monopoly. "Duke" completed his Philippine championship at 6 months and 2 weeks of age and his American championship in two weekends each a month apart. He was just 9 months old when he became an Am Ch. We are so very proud of Duke!
NOTE: We have more photos of Duke on our "Show Photos" page.

Oreo was named for his distinguished grandsire, but our expectations of a red color are not being met at the moment. From a very dark, almost black, he is now black-faced with black extending over his entire head, ears and neck. His coat is black at the tips, but a silver grey at the roots . . . thus the nickname. He is another alpha and is spoiled rotten by his "grandma" Gina!

Surprise . . . a particolor!! Fizz is from Duke's first litter and Patty graciously offered us a co-ownership. She knows we love the particolors as much as she does, and to come from two such lovely parents was a huge bonus! As a youngster, he had what Patty would call a "short fuse" (hence his call name), protecting his toys and meals from real and imagined interlopers. As he has grown up, however, he has left that behavior behind and seems to have replaced it with a wonderfully silly sense of humor. He has his first six points toward his title, and is now proven as well! He has thus far produced three American champions and has at least three more children with points. We are very pleased with how he is producing!

Omar was imported from his breeders, Jim and Jean Smith in the UK and after spending most of 2010 in the US with his co-owner, Patty Metzger, he is currently here with us. He is oh so properly constructed, has a calm and sweet way of doing everything and he has a very open face with plenty of room for his features. He is beautifully line bred and we hope he works well with our girls! He has two litters in the US and we will shortly have our own Omar babies! He is very close to having his Philippine title already as well!
